Our Children's Room is packed with various materials for children. Here are the the categories of materials you will find:
Board Books: Perfect for babies and toddlers, these are sturdy cardboard books that are meant to withstand heavy use.
Picture Books: Books composed entirely of pictures for children who have not yet learned to read. Some books are wordless; others have a sentence or two or even a paragraph.
Readers: These are books for children who are learning to read. The books are this rack have a yellow label on the spine. Most of these titles have a number on the cover or spine indicating the
Juvenile Fiction: Stories written for children in elementary school and up to middle school ages.
Non-Fiction: We have lots of different types of books - biographies, cookbooks, sports, LEGO, arts & craft books. Non-fiction picture books introduce children to new subjects in a simple way!
Graphic Novels: If your child likes comics, art or illustrations this is the perfect section for them!
Spanish Collection: Our Spanish section is modest, but we are adding to it all the time! We have some of all types of books. These books will have an Espanol sticker on the spine about the book's label.
Juvenile Music: We have a collection of popular music CDs for kids.
We also have books-on-CD, DVDs and magazines available for check-out!
