Meet Our Staff
Kat A., Library Page Hi. I'm Kat! i have two beautiful cats Cerberus, a Maincoon, and Ta'challa, a black cat! I'd consider myself and artist, I draw and do photography. When I get the time I'm either with my bff or my siblings. I don't read as much as I'd like but I'm really into fiction and crime type books. I love to constantly learn so when I get the chance to try something new I'll most always take it! |

Shawn C., Circulation Specialist
I'm Shawn and I am all about the 5 Cs: chocolate, coffee, crochet, Cary Grant and Chick-fil-A. In my free time, I like to listen to 50s music, watch Golden Girls reruns and solve mysteries alongside my favorite amateur sleuth: Ms. Flavia Sabina de Luce. When I'm not sacrificing sleep to read more chapters, I like talking to people about what they're reading.

Keith E., Technology Specialist
Hey, I’m Keith. I love comics, cats, and loud guitars. And yes, I moved back

Kayla K., Library Assistant
Hey! I'm Kayla. I am obsessed with anything Pretty Little Liars related. My favorite author is Sara Shepard. My son and I also enjoy reading interactive children's books together. When I'm not reading, you can find me thrift shopping or at the movies!

Riana M., Youth Services Specialist

I also love to write reviews and discuss books. Other hobbies I really enjoy are cooking, watching movies and shows, hiking, and traveling.

My name's Jessica. My favorite thing is writing. When I'm not writing I can either be
found reading or playing basketball and my favorite season is Fall.

Allison Scanlan, Director
I love to read graphic novels, manga, picturebooks, the occasional adult non-fiction book. I'm a geek about libraries! I can't live without cats & coffee.

Socrates (Socks), Library Cat
This is Socrates Prints Hugo, also known as Socks the Library Cat. Socks & his siblings were found abandoned on the side of the road. Pinson City Councilman Roberts & his family took the kittens in & cared for them. They immediately knew that Socks was special because he was very outgoing & loved to be around people! Socks came to live at Pinson Public Library in January 2016. He's a local celebrity! He likes attention & lots of treats!
You can follow his adventures on his Facebook page.
